Resort Experience:

The trip was fantastic. The staff was great! We loved the area of the resort we stayed in. It was still close to everything but quiet and a great view. And it was by our favorite lunch spot- Heart and Sol. We have little to no complaints and would highly recommend this trip.

VibeGetaways Experience:

Oh we love Vibe Getaways and will always recommend. We especially love the travel tips- we used the app for entry back into the US and passed a lot of couples we were on the plane with! It saved so much time! Also we loved the booking of our room! Such great help and perfect for us!

Resort Experience:

We had an amazing time in Jamaica. The staff was so warm and welcoming; they made us feel like family instead of visitors/tourists. I’m looking forward to going back.

Thank you so much for all your help on this fantastic trip! Christian and I have raving about Sandals Ochi and you to all our friends and family! We had such an unbelievable time, all the food, drinks, people, and excursions were absolutely wonderful! We loved that our room was in the building right on the water, our favorite drinks had to be the Bob Marley, and the excursions and add ons were so worth it! We ended up adding on the Taste and Feel package with the candlelight dinner, couples massage, and a free 5×7 photo. For the excursions, we did the Reggae Sunset Cruise and the Dunns River Falls Cruise! We felt so at home it was hard to leave! By the end of the trip we did both get sick so we were unable to book another trip, but we will be sure to reach out to you when we are ready for our next excursions. Christian has been telling everyone that there is no other way to vacation, but with sandals! Thank you so much for all your help!

We absolutely loved our trip to Negril for our 45th anniversary.Our stay there was amazing, Staff treated us special and would call us by name.The entertainment team was great every night. I would go back there again.

Beth was the best!! She answered our questions within a very short time. We’re so glad she recommended using Mobay Service. That was great!! They got us through Customs very fast and our luggage out there waiting on us. We enjoyed the sandwiches and drinks in the Mobay lounge.

The Sandals South Coast resort was great! We loved Sushi on the Sand, Eleanor’s, and Schooner’s! The staff at Eleanor’s went out of their way to get my wife ackee and selfish for breakfast when it was not on the menu. The staff at Bayside were always able to grab my wife a glass of sorrel juice. We loved the main pool and made use of the water sports offered! We were a bit disappointed with the beach. Neither of us liked the sea grass or how murky the water was along the shore. We’d also heard there had been some sea urchins brought in by the hurricane so we didn’t get to enjoy swimming in the ocean much outside of our snorkeling trips.

Resort Experience:

We truly had a wonderful time at Sandals Ochi. The weather was perfect all week, and despite being such a large resort, we easily found time and space for just the two of us. The resort was beautiful and very clean. We frequented many of the pools as well as the beach and were shocked to find them somewhat empty, giving us a lovely and private experience. The water was a great temperature too and the swim-up bars were fun! The entertainment was great and we enjoyed many shows and trips to the The Rabbit Hole. Their singers are very talented! The drinks were tasty and we loved the frozen Bob Marley. Staff members were friendly and our butlers were accommodating. We absolutely adored the cats on the property and loved waking up to see which ones were outside. We enjoyed quite a few excursions- specifically our Dolphin Swim, River Tubing, and Dunns River Falls Experience. Our tour guides were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and humorous. Make sure to bring enough cash to tip all involved. We also enjoyed an amazing free couples massage, thanks to Denise securing us our resort credit!

The only two things we found to take away from our experience being 10/10 were the beds and the food. The bed in our butler suite was very firm, almost like sleeping on a rock. Many days we were so tired that we fell right asleep, waking up with some body aches. Also, we were very disappointed by the food. Many of the meals were just okay or not great. We could count on one hand the things we truly found delicious or enjoyed. We ate at many of the restaurants and just found the food to be lacking in flavor or prepared in an odd way with a different taste. The Italian restaurant was delicious, as was the lobster tail. The breakfast buffets had some tasty options too. The chicken was tender in many of the dishes as well. However, I would definitely stay away from some of the seafood and red meat. We tried strip steak, filet, and sirloin and all were incredibly tough, chewy, and peppery. The starches, specifically potatoes and bread, were very different from those in the US too. We also found their chocolate and many desserts to be unpleasant. We were certainly ready to come back to our bed, dining, and cooking.

Overall, with those two things aside, we had a wonderful time and were thankful to have honeymooned on this beautiful resort and island.

Denise provided excellent service throughout the entire process. From booking to arrival, she was there to answer any questions and provide recommendations or support. She gave us the confidence we needed to book certain excursions and to continue with our trip despite the hurricane that had shaken part of the island a few weeks prior. Denise was friendly, knowledgable, honest, and thorough. She often sent pictures and videos and related to her own experience. She got us every amenity and discount possible, and as a result we were able to enjoy a wonderful free couples massage, a few photos, and a free catamaran cruise all on resort credit and promotions. I would definitely recommend booking through her, and should we frequent a Sandals again in the future, I will be certain to do so. Thanks SO much for making our vacation wonderful!
